About Me

Hey, I'm Jake! ​I'm a film editor and post production specialist based in Atlanta, GA. I'm certified in Avid Media Composer and have extensive experience with Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. While picture editing is my primary passion, I love all facets of post production - creative and technical.

I've had the opportunity to be the lead editor on narrative films, a TV pilot, a music video, and a short documentary. Additionally, I've edited a variety of content for clients like Deloitte, Gloo, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl, Synchrony Financial, and more.  On the technical side, I have years of experience managing media, transcoding proxies, preparing NLE projects, syncing audio, prepping timelines for turnover, and everything else that needs to happen from pre-production to final delivery.

I am passionate about creative storytelling, and I believe it's an editor's job to distill and present a story in a way that allows an audience to connect with it intellectually and emotionally. I love working with directors to help bring their unique visions to life.

When I'm not staring at my computer screen in a dark room (as editors often do), I enjoy traveling and staying creative through photography. You'll also find me at plenty of Atlanta Braves and Atlanta United games!
