About Me

Hey, I’m Jake! I’m a film editor and post-production specialist based in Atlanta, GA. I’m certified in Avid Media Composer and have extensive experience with Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. While picture editing is my primary passion, I enjoy all facets of post-production - both creative and technical.

I’ve served as lead editor on narrative and documentary films, a TV pilot, a music video, and a variety of content for clients including Gloo, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Deloitte, the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Synchrony Financial, and more.

On the technical side, I bring years of experience managing media, transcoding proxies, preparing NLE projects, syncing audio, prepping timelines for turnover, and guiding projects smoothly from pre-production through final delivery.

I’m passionate about creative storytelling and believe it’s an editor’s role to shape a story in a way that connects with audiences both intellectually and emotionally. I also love collaborating with directors to help bring their unique visions to life.

When I’m not staring at a computer screen in a dark room (as editors often do), I enjoy traveling and staying creative through photography. You’ll also find me at plenty of Atlanta Braves and Atlanta United games!
